How do YOU help save the environment?

To help keep the Earth greener, you:

Recycle at least 2/3 of your garbage.

Use mass transit/walk/bicycle to work.

Live within 10 miles of work or your transit stop to work.

Drive a vehicle with 35+ mpg, or don't drive at all.

Own energy-efficient appliances.

Turn down thermostat in winter and up in summer.

Chiefly use fluorescent and not incandescent bulbs.

Avoid toxic household and garden chemicals.

Use water-saving practices, such as dishwashing by hand.

Use disposable paper sparingly at home.

Use clean, renewable electrical energy.

Take measures in addition to these.
