How do you honor God?

My mom died of pancreatic cancer and she still believed in God.

I am sorry to read that, but I am not sure how it addresses my point.

I was talking of little kids dying of cancer.

Pain is pain and suffering is suffering, no matter the age. I don't personally know any kids who died of cancer and I'll probably end up dying of cancer, myself, since it runs in my family.

I've been trying to find my own ways of talking with and honoring God and I was just curious about everybody else on here. If you believe in God, no matter in what sense, in what ways do you try to talk to Him or honor Him?
