I shall predict you get only one kind of answer which is live and let live. I think everyone who takes the other view which is self righteous will not admit it out loud or in type, you know.

I think the beliefs of others are possibly just as valid as my own.
My beliefs are wide and varied and some based on theories so I cannot in all good conscience claim them to be the sole truth, I will not know until I die whether I was right or not.

I view them as beneficial and harmful depending on their usage. I understand that each is equal in creation and unequal at the same time.
I do not view religions as divine institutions that have reached mankind but as man-made institutions to reach the divine.
All should be respected for their wonderful deeds and left to exist in peace amongst its adherents.

I am ****** up. But I am not an arrogant. Live and let live. As an agnostic with theistic tendencies and lover of christian principles. I would say don't let anything or anyone define you or determine your life. Only the big guy will judge.

I don't view my path as some sole truth, I think objectivity is rather limited when it comes to religion and philosophy. I tend to view different faiths different ways while also trying to look at individuals rather than labels. I've gotten better with age at, even though I might see someone's beliefs as pathetic, I can tell myself "hey it works for them".

From the Baha'i scriptures:

"There can be no doubt whatever that the peoples of the world, of whatever race or religion, derive their inspiration from one heavenly Source, and are the subjects of one God. The difference between the ordinances under which they abide should be attributed to the varying requirements and exigencies of the age in which they were revealed. All of them, except a few which are the outcome of human perversity, were ordained of God, and are a reflection of His Will and Purpose. Arise and, armed with the power of faith, shatter to pieces the gods of your vain imaginings, the sowers of dissension amongst you. Cleave unto that which draweth you together and uniteth you."

Heck, no! I wouldn't even know how to attempt to do such a thing.

Do you view your beliefs as being the sole truth?

Not really. They aren't a truth at all. If they were, they wouldn't be beliefs.

and if you do view your religion as the sole truth how do you view the followers of other religions?

I judge them according to their apparent religious wisdom. Religion for me isn't about truth nearly so much as it is about nurturing and developing constructive inspiration and insights.

Some beliefs allow for a wide variety in this. Others don't really, but there is always the odd duck out.

Basically, religions are methods, pathways. Some are more rigid than others, some are more well-off than others, none really warrants results just because people nominally adhere to them. Far more often than people usually admit, they are in fact fixed by their very practicioners to some extent. And some religions are very much disastrous traps, abominations even.

I try not to.
Do you view view them as being equally valid?
No.
Do you view your beliefs as being the sole truth?
Only on the beliefs I claim to be certain of.
...and if you do view your religion as the sole truth how do you view the followers of other religions?
As misguided as me, give or take childhood indoctrination and/or conspiracy theory.

I'm not sure I'd say equally true exactly, as I wouldn't be a pagan if I thought Monotheism was more true than the gods, but equally valid sure. True for the person that holds said belief yes. There can be many paths up the mountain. Yahweh is a god just as much as my gods are. I do believe in a one behind it all too, so equally valid.

I say whatever work's for that person work's for that person and it is real to them. I respect other people's belief's as long as it does not harm anyone. I feel real in tune with buddhism myself.

I entertain them, chuckle and in general, roll my eyes.

Do you view view them as being equally valid?
Absolutely not. There are some belief systems that I see as being less damaging than others though. For example, it would not occur to me to say that Scientology is as valid a belief system as Judaism. That's just silly.

Do you view your beliefs as being the sole truth?
I'm not big on "truth", but I know a good con job when I see one. :) The con usually begins with excitable human animals raving on about "the truth".

My beliefs are superiour to me, or else I'd switch to the one I thought was better. They're not equally valid in my view either. If I thought they were, I'd be a radical universalist and practice a different one every day of the month, or depending on whim.

As far as others go, I really don't care until it affects me, like overt proseltysing, or killing innocent people. It's not like you can go change someone's mind anyway.

All beliefs are in a constant state of becoming and can probably be treated tentatively. Awareness of their impermanence reveals the non-truth of worldviews. They may be practical, sexual, social, spiritual/esthetic, or another branching category. All such thought-impressions and preconceptions have no beginning or end. There are infinite variations based on a vastness of variables and conditions. We can communicate because we share a relatively similar cultural matrix based on human conditioning specifically. Context matters and so do other people.

I refrain from grasping at abstract notions or metanarratives as if they were mirror reflections of Truth. I practice appreciating the practical, sexual, social, spiritual/esthetic dimensions of different cultural grids while seeking common ground for communion with Life. I view the followers of other religions as simple humans being. We all meet within Presence along the existential highway and we all share joy and suffering.

I think everyone's beliefs are valid for them. Whether I think they have any objective validity depends on the particular beliefs and what type of information, logic, and reason exists which supports them.

As far as most peoples' religious beliefs, I find that they are valid as emotional and psychological tools, but usually not valid in describing objective reality. However, they work fine for most people as their beliefs are primarily driven by emotion, and not reason.

I think some beliefs are superior (more likely to be true and/or beneficial), some beliefs are inferior (most likely to be false and/or detrimental), and some beliefs are neutral (may or may not be true, but they make they person feel healthy and happy; these beliefs may work for one person but not another).

"After long study and experience, I have come to the conclusion that all religions are true; all religions have some error in them; all religions are almost as dear to me as my own Hinduism, in as much as all human beings should be as dear to one as one's own close relatives. My own veneration for other faiths is the same as that for my own faith;" - Gandhi

Do you view your beliefs as being the sole truth? and if you do view your religion as the sole truth how do you view the followers of other religions?

Yes, it's the sole truth... for me. For others their beliefs are the sole truth. Relativism.
