I posted a couple of very serious scientific studies of remote viewing, one by the CIA which reviewed quite a few studies and posted their statistical and methodological reviews. Then I posted another which was a follow up and discussed two options of what it takes to say something is established.

Maybe one person read anything but the vast majority just posted their beliefs not being at all responsive to the OP title nor the evidence. It's clear to me that almost without exception RF is not a place for truly serious discussion beyond the arena of beliefs. Oh well, I'll just stick to the humor threads more and more.

If science proves that non-local consciousness is real how does that change your understanding in case anyone wants to see why I have the feedback I just wrote for this thread.
In my experience, people tend to read the title and respond to it without even reading the OP.

I greatly value a few members and genuinely respect others. For me, community is something more.

I picked option 2 ... with apologies.

I don't think you need to apologize, Jay. We can belong to all sorts of communities.

My synagogue community is most important to me, but my online community here at RF is very dear to me in a different way. Same as my neighborhood community is dear to me. And my public library community, too. Oh, and my whale-watching community. (I could go on and on, so many communities with so many different friends that make up each.)

Thank goodness for all kinds of communities, and that we can derive something different and meaningful from each of them.

I often focus a lot on philosophy these days. But I also plan to focus a bit more on the social side eventually. Philosophy just leads to debate, honestly. And there comes a point where one makes up their mind on some subjects, where debate isn't (always) that useful to them anymore.

I chose other.

I regard RF as a tool of Satan designed to get people to question their beliefs.

And we all know that questioning is evil.

EEeeeEEEEEEeeeeeviiiiiilllle!!!!!!
Wrongo pongo. Everyone should know that RF is a tool of illusion, Maya, which keeps us in her thrall and away from experiencing reality. She's very very good at her job.
