How I found God

Hi all!

I am Frank, I am 30 years old and live in California.
I have a beautiful wife named Karen and have two lovely children. Without God and my family I would be lost.

I would like to take the time to discuss to you all how I found the wonderful God.
It was six years ago I was involved in a tragic car accident where a truck went through a red light and collided into my brand new car, I was rushed into hospital as I couldn't move. Doctors told me my chances of ever walking again were slim and my only hope was major spinal surgery but even that probably wouldn't give me the ability to walk again.

I had chosen to have major back surgery the following day, however, that night all I felt was anguish and had only little hope but that little bit was enough. I prayed to God saying "Please father, please help me, I need a miracle please do everything you can".

The next day I followed through with the surgery that took place at about 8.30AM nurses put a injection into my wrist to put me to sleep.

I woke up in the night but I didn't remember much as I was still heavily sedated. On the second or third day surgeons told me that I had made a miraculous recovery and I would most definately make a full recovery.

Today I am living a great life, I am now a minister at a church and could not be happier.

Thank you Lord so much, you are amazing, you are hero and you are my saviour.
Thanks so much for guiding me into a wise adult.

Welcome to the RF.

Let me be the first to say though, I think you should be thanking your surgeons.

It always amazes me to hear that it took some miracle in order to believe and fully trust in God.

Anyway, welcome and I am glad you are doing better.

technology was the key to your recovery, the comment made by the doctors
insure that you will remember them. we as human must remember our ability
to create and destroy. when we create, it may appear to be magical to some.
and do not forget that the doctors are salesman, just like the person that sold
you your new car.
