Wherever I am on the scale, I must be above Meow Mix because I can solve whole systems of third order differential equations with effort AND I know how to avoid using checks by using my debit card. :p

Meow: Don't feel bad if you're aweful at mundane tasks. Perhaps you're beyond the scale all together. I know that I sometimes I feel like Jane Goodall trying to fit into chimp society. Sure I'm probably dumb by chimp standards, but then I have to ask myself "Do I really care?"

I went with 6.
I have no idea how accurate that is.
Intelligence is about one's ability to learn. I'm a relatively slow learner, but when I really put the effort in, I do quite well (I've been top of my class a number of times).

I wish I was one of those people who just understood complex concepts without needing to make much of an effort!

To be honest I think "genius" has more to do with hard work, determination and confidence then a quick mind.

Six.

I can solve third order differential equations with effort but I don't know where to sign my name on a check.

Typically the right-hand side. Look at the carbon copy, one side will be covered over by a black strip. That is so your signature does not end up on the carbon copy, that is the side you sign your name.

I put myself at 7. Who knows if that's accurate? I bet that a lot of people who know me would put it a lot higher. The funny thing is, what they perceive as intelligence, is not that at all. It's interest and curiosity. I find that far more important than how naturally intelligent you are, is your desire to learn and discover.
