Don't forget that Afghanistan, Iraq, Somalia, Sudan and Libya regularly feature on lists of the most corrupt countries in the world, and have no statues of Jesus.

On the other hand, Switzerland, Norway, Sweden and Denmark regularly feature as the least corrupt countries, and have many statues, not only of Jesus, but also of abominations like a 'little mermaid', the fearsome 'Baby-eater of Berne' (presumably an atheist statue) and terrifyingly, even a statue of noted homosexualist Freddie Mercury.

This clearly proves that baby eating and gay statues reduce corruption significantly and would therefore be a cost-effective method of ensuring clean governance across the developing world. I'm surprised the UN hasn't cottoned on to this already...
