How Many Ignore Lists Are You On?

It can be frustrating, unless you understand it as a disability.

Although empathizing with what is going on with the other person and rationalizing it may go a long way, I can't say it always makes the unpleasant emotions go away.
I guess that's my own disability.

I concur. It varies on the individual as well. There are poor listeners, and POOR listeners. In my circle of friends, I can never discount language either. Sometime it's not poor listening, but poor English.

I have no idea.
But I know there's at least one I'm on.
And at least one that I've been on, but am on no longer.

It's a darn shame that we've no way to tally this statistic.
BTW, I'd like a feature allowing me to place myself on
another poster's <Ignore> list.

How do we know if we are?

I know that I'm on at least two. The first was another member who responded to my post by telling me that they were putting me on ignore. I'm not sure why this person thought it was necessary to publicly announce that they were putting me on ignore, but they did. I, on the other hand, didn't think it was necessary to publicly announce to the members I put on ignore that I was putting them on my ignore list. The other person who has me on their ignore list was told by a mod to do so, and I was told to put this person on ignore.

Aye, telling someone they’ll be ignored isn’t as good as just ignoring them.

Are ignore buttons/lists really needed? Or are they there to give a disgruntled poster some sense of justice? We can ignore without buttons being pushed. :p

If you become a moderator you can't be ignored. Try it. Put me onto your ignore list. It doesn't work. I could be on thousands of ignore lists. I'll never know how many I'm on.

Hmmm. Can you see how many ignore lists you've been put on but can't be ignored?
Only an admin (and not just any admin) can find out how many ignore lists they are on, but most admins probably wouldn't know how. Its technical and probably not very fun. PHP + SQL + other + you have to care about it. I believe that such an admin gets an extra title such as Mega Admin or Reverend Admin.

Oh, yeah....that happens.
I put no one on <ignore>, even
when The Man issues orders.
