How many Sikhs are on RF ?

i think its not appropriate for me to say few Sikhs as

Afternoon Treks-ji!
I can't wear the dastar for the reason that bar one person, not a single person in my family (who I live with) actually knows about my intention to take Amrit. The one person who DOES know, my mother, is a combination of confused, upset and angry. Being as conservative as they are, I'm unsure as to whether I CAN tell other family about Sikhi, much less HOW I can tell them.
So I'm forced to keep my faith and practices a secret from anyone, and whilst kara, kirpan, kesh (to an extent) and kacchera I can keep secret, I can't keep a dastar hidden away.

No need to worry because five important K's of Sikhi are Kara, Kirpan, Kesh, Kacchera and Kanga(Comb). Dastar is not included.

1) Do you believe a true Muslim can follow anyone else than the Quran and a prophet after Muhammad?
2) What historical proof do you have that he didn't revert to Sikhi? (my proof of his conversion will follow).
3) Why does Gurbani reject the basics of Islam (Hajj, Ramadan, Circumcision etc)? How could Islam then lead to God (if it is flawed).

Just my thoughts on your dot points:
1) I think Sikh philosophy is something that can sit on top of someone's existing religion. Guru Nanak wasn't a prophet so doesn't bump Muhammad's title.
2) I don't have any proof, I've never really sought it, but I look forward to seeing yours.
3) Gurbani rejects useless rituals and gives us other tools such as constant simran-remembrance of the Sat Naam accompanied by good, honest actions in the world, to achieve realisation of Sat Naam. Why are shabads by non-Sikhs included in Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji and called Gurbani if they come from people who follow such flawed religions, like Baba Farid Ji?
Although Guru Nanak criticised the religions of his day, he also spent time in sangat with holy men of his day and says much in his Bani about keeping company with Saints - presumably then he kept his own company since there were no other saints except him in the world, ever?

1) Yes one can absolutely take parts of Sikhi and apply to their daily lives without having to convert. But still Sikhi is, lets put it this way, most secure way to reach God because there is no intermediairy, no changements in the religious scriptures and mindless rituals stopping you from experiencing Akaal Purakh.
But a Muslim is one who follows the Quran as Allahs final word. And this final word says that there is no prophet after Muhammad (33:40). Besides you can't accept anything else than the Quran as Gods work (they believe 4 books came down but they were altered, only the Quran is flawless for them). So how could Mardana be a Muslim if he sang Gurbani as Gods word (Dhur Ki Bani) and believed in Guru Nanak Sahib and bowed to him?
2) Gyan Ratnavli, a book written in the 18th century, confirms that Bhai Mardana was initiated into the Sikh faith.
3) Gurbani is rejecting many of the 5 Pillars of Islam, so isn't it rejecting Islam itself?
4) Another brilliant discussion. Were the Bhagats really non-Sikh? If so then what makes you think the Bhagats were non Sikhs (historically and philosophically).
