Inspired by a thread in the Theists Only forum, which has limited participation preventing me and many others here from participating, it led me to wonder how often those who do not identify as theists think about the divine.
This thread is open to anyone, including atheists, to share how often they think about the God of Abraham or any other god(s.)
So then, how often do you think about God or god(s)? What evokes this thought? Do you find it productive? Counterproductive? Why?
For me it's practically every day, usually brought about by curiosity in what drives people's actions and behaviors. I find it productive in understanding how people think, how they behave as they do, and decisions they make in everyday life and helps me to better interact with them by understanding and empathizing with their perspective.

I often wonder what inspires someone who finds no meaning in God to join a religious forum such as this one and participate. I would imagine such a person had to think about God or gods at some point. Why else would they be here?
I see it more as how often am I aware of the Divine. Thinking about God, or the Divine (which doesn't have be a personalized form of the Divine in the face of a deity form, per se), is looking into the mental conceptual domain, rather than awareness of the ever-present Reality that just is, free of our conceptual ideas and judgments. You could call it 'mindfulness', which is more seeing with my being, as opposed to thinking or seeing reality through my thoughts.Inspired by a thread in the Theists Only forum, which has limited participation preventing me and many others here from participating, it led me to wonder how often those who do not identify as theists think about the divine.
