How Old Were You??

a school mate. i was 17. he died from leukemia. pale. very pale.

Besides the plane crash pictures my mother showed me that my father died in with dead body parts when I was 6...the first time I ever saw a "whole" dead body I was about 16 I think..my grandfather..then a friend of mine died at 22 of an asthma attack and I saw her dead body..then I saw my stepfathers fathers dead body at about 28..then I saw my SIL's father dead body at about 32..then I saw my aunts dead body when I was about 40..then I saw my grandmothers dead body when I was 43...Im sure Im going to see at least that many more dead bodies if I live another 20 years.

Its "funny" my son who is 30 has never seen a dead body..nor my 23 year old or 17 year old...I wonder if it makes a difference?Good or bad..Or is it a "just is" thing"?
