How outspoken are you, IRL?

I'm generally quiet. I try to get along with everyone, but with those I am comfortable with, I can be outspoken. I speak up when I see Injustice done.
Unfortunately...I am very outspoken, being Italian.

Like her...I would have probably said Peppa Pig, as well....

I mean...I am very outspoken in real life ..:p
With my friends I always speak my mind...and sometimes our conversations sound and look like this:

With males I am another person. Gentle, kind, refined...

What about you?:)
I never shut up, for anybody. I don't care who I'm talking to. When asked, or when a participant in a conversation, I will always speak my mind.

I'll do so with the required civility though. I won't insult for the sake of doing so. I don't try to be controversial. But I'm not apologetic either.
If I think "A", then I'll express "A" without shame and without sugar coating.

I consider anything else to be counterproductive and I actually can't stand people who don't do the same.

I prefer to listen over talking IRL. I never use profanity. However I was quite active in Toastmasters before. As a teacher and a Marine Corps veteran I learned how to project my voice quite well when I need to do so. ;)

I’m more of a listener than a talker.

But let’s just say that once you engage me in discussion, you won’t have to wonder what I’m thinking. I won’t raise my voice, but I’ll get my point across.

I'm loud, obnoxious and I swear like a sailor. :p

Really, I tend to speak my mind. I don't hold back much. I do try to express myself self in a civil manner.
My middle son doesn't really understand the gravity of swear words... Sometimes he'll drop one in a sentence, and his brother will follow, and I'll just ask people to excuse them, they're sailors(that's our last name, but its spelled differently).

Unless I'm asked for my opinion or I think some kind of warning or caution is needed I usually keep my mouth shut. I don't think "I speak my mind" when giving unsolicited advice and personal comments is anything other than rude and classless.

It all depends on the topic of a discussion. If it catches my interest and I have something to share, then I will participate. Unfortunately, sometimes people have this nasty habit of talking at length about their children, relatives and even friends and neighbors, thinking everybody cares about their family problems or the problems of the people they don't even know. Then I shut down and let my mind wander in lalaland while they ramble on convinced I'm listening.

People might be surprised I'm quite different in the real world.

I like to keep a demeanor that is quiet and unassuming. Much like an observer of the world rather than a parcipent of the world.

That actually doesn't surprise me.

A family friend my mom has been been friends with for about 60 years, his grandparents were Italian and he's very outspoken, lmao. Really big jerk too, but also a really big heart underneath all the stones and thorns.

I'm pretty quiet, reserved and shy in real life. I'm more vocal online. I like the fact that online I can think about what I say before I say it, and obviously I have no problems with stammering or tripping over my words. Once in awhile I'll think a word and not type it, but I can always go back and edit the original post. Plus, I've been trained to be able to type very well.
