Percentage wise, how much of your time is consumed with religious endeavors? I have to admit somewhere around 90% of my time is consumed with religion... Some days 100% unless I am sleeping.

Holy smokes, that's a lot compared to most people, including me... you should be proud of this, yet it almost sounds like you are ashamed...I have to admit somewhere around 90% of my time is consumed with religion... Some days 100% unless I am sleeping.

I think about other peoples religion a lot, but religion is like a hobby to me. I don't actively participate in any religion but I read books about them so I would say maybe 10-20 percent of my time is taken up by reading books about religion.
You seem to confuse being religious with being compulsive.Percentage wise, how much of your time is consumed with religious endeavors?
Religion is the discovery and growth of one's spiritual being. However there are times that I find myself in social situations that I don't feel very religious and realize this as times I am acting purely as a carnal being.just 90? and what do you do with the other 10% ? loool.
religion is not today you believe tomorrow you don't. Religion is in everything you do.
Thats where Christianity looses its credibility.
I agree knight, and generally I do this. I try to observe everything through my religious beliefs, however, I am not perfect and I know I fail at this sometimes. Which is why I said 90%. However, if my failures can still be considered religious discovery, than maybe 100% is the reality.Religion is a 100% thing. If you really believe in your religion, it should affect every aspect of your life. It should affect your outlook, your attitude, your behavior. Someone once asked me "How much time do you spend studying Torah?" I replied, "I spend all my time studying Torah." They asked "How is it possible that you can study 100% of the time? I see you doing other things than studying?"
My response was, "Simple, when I am engaged in life and living my life as the Torah stipulates then I am studying Torah. Torah study consists of learning Torah, acting on Torah, and using Torah in your daily life to affect your decisions. Do I sin? Yes. Yet at the same time I try my hardest not to while keeping the Torah in mind."
Yeah I have been compulsive for about 17 years. I am seeing a shrink about it.You seem to confuse being religious with being compulsive.

I like to think of myself as being faithful and not religious.
**sigh**
I don't think I can really put it into a percentage... it's not the kind of thing that I would want to calculate. It just is.
