No. It's a red county.Have you considered going door to door to get people to join the Green Party? I'm not saying you should, because I don't know Curry County, but I'm wondering whether you think that would be effective.

I find that because politics is often slow and ponderous this feeling accumulates over time when not getting the opportunity to do something personally. And that's further exacerbated by being in a town not politically aligned with you.It just seems to be a lot of talking and no action or results
Well I'm on my towns volunteer fire department. Kinda similarI find that because politics is often slow and ponderous this feeling accumulates over time when not getting the opportunity to do something personally. And that's further exacerbated by being in a town not politically aligned with you.
Sometimes what can help is to take a personal project like volunteering by phone with an advocacy group or seeing if there are any anti-bullying school advocacy or pro-science advocacy you can do there. Even something as somber as working with suicide hotline ultimately helps me break the feeling of being in a political rut.
