I fricken hate xmas. That's not the religious festival, that I'm simply not part of. It's all the rest of it. It's September and they already have Christmas displays in the stores! Soon the awful xmas music will start. Can nobody write any new songs? Bah Humbug!

Some people celebrate their birthdays 1-time a year. I used to celebrate my birthday 1 week prior and celebrate it every day for a 7 day period and have the last birthday party on my actual birthday. In more recent years as an adult, I still celebrate my birthday starting April 14th and continue celebrating it until I get bored or it becomes too expensive usually ending in early June.

How often do you celebrate your birth?

Annually usually. Sometimes less.

Fortunately for me, I don't need to acknowledge Christmas. But back to birthdays, many Hindus celebrate it on the nakshatra (where the moon is in a month) during the month they were born. I'm sure other folks use different calendars too.
