And a counter question is can and should we be the world's policeman and tell all countries which kind of leaders they must have? In the case of Vietnam, I'm quite sure that genocide was not on the table with Ho Chi Mihn, but a purge of leaders and some military might well have been. After all, he did win out and there's really no evidence of genocide per se.

Governments come and go but an innocent human life can't be replaced.
