Organization?
Does that not imply "group"?
so in your opinion one must be a member of a group with a codified philosophy?

What, to be a member of a religion (which is a religious group)? Of course. But you don't need to be a member of a religion/group, to believe in a philosophy.

Does one need agree with said philosophy?

If the group/religion requires it, as almost all do, of course.

Needless to say, i disagree with your personal definition of the word "religion".

You asked me to differentiate between religion and philosophy. How do you do it?
