I'm not so very important that if I were to die the whole universe would endIf I were to ask you does all of existence end when you die and begin again with your rebirth what would your answer be? How would you know?
Yeah but how would you know?I'm not so very important that if I were to die the whole universe would end
That is irrational and dare I say big headed
The world would carry on fine without me
I am not the center of the universe and neither is any other human
If I were to ask you does all of existence end when you die and begin again with your rebirth what would your answer be? How would you know?
If my arse was itching when I died, and still itching after my rebirth, I would know.If I were to ask you does all of existence end when you die and begin again with your rebirth what would your answer be? How would you know?
My answer would be no. In my true nature, I am all existence. I do not die.If I were to ask you does all of existence end when you die and begin again with your rebirth what would your answer be?
The OP asks about existence, not the universe.I'm not so very important that if I were to die the whole universe would end
The whole idea is self evidently absurdYeah but how would you know?
The universe is our little corner of existenceThe OP asks about existence, not the universe.
Is existence "the whole universe?"
Or does the whole universe appear in existence?
I’m asking you how would you know? Does your body brain or heart tell you that you’re just an average guy?The whole idea is self evidently absurd
It makes zero sense and is obviously not true
If I were to ask you does all of existence end when you die and begin again with your rebirth what would your answer be? How would you know?
The universe will take notice when your gone and your rebirth will start it all up again.I couldn't know, assuming my memories were included in what was ended and begun again. How could I?
I could speculate though. One question might be why is the existence of the whole universe dependent on me and not someone else? Which brings me inevitably to the concept of solipsism, that my consciousness is the only thing that exists and I'm imagining everything else. In that case though, I have to ask what stops and starts my life? If it's some other consciousness, then my solipsism conclusion must be wrong. So there's at least one other consciousness in the universe. But if it gets destroyed with me (you said "all of existence [ends]") what remains to start it all up again?
So what, anyway?
I think I am somewhat above averageI’m asking you how would you know? Does your body brain or heart tell you that you’re just an average guy?
How? You’re not answering the OPI think I am somewhat above average
Yet I know I am not so ace that if I died then the whole universe would die with me
That would be egotistical to the extreme
I was answering post number 10How?How? How? You’re not answering the OP
You haven’t answered the OP in any of your responses. Post number 10 is basically the OP. If you don’t know how it’s fine to say you don’t know.I was answering post number 10
Not the OP
I would say that if I thought that then I would be an ego maniac to say the very leastIf I were to ask you does all of existence end when you die and begin again with your rebirth what would your answer be? How would you know?
That doesn’t tell me much thoughI would say that if I thought that then I would be an ego maniac to say the very least
And I would know that as I have a grounding in reality and know that I am not so awesome that I am the source of all existence
Dude, thinking that you are the source of all existence is not indicative of a healthy mindThat doesn’t tell me much though
