What's your story? How did you find the forum? Did someone invite you or did you find it on your own?

I got here purely by chance. I was reading a text that had a few terms in it I was unfamiliar with and decided to google a bit. Almost nothing showed up, except for a post here on the forum that explained all I needed to know. I kept reading without thinking further about it, but the site didn't leave my thoughts alone after that. So I came back a bit later and read some more threads, and before I knew it I found myself posting here myself. The end

I have not wanted to go elsewhere since coming here.
It has become "my Lays potatoe chips" ( you can not seem to stop!)
I always leave satisfied!!!

I find it offensive that you term it like that. It will hurt sentiments of Christians. It could be Muslims, Hindus, Buddhists, or Jews likened to to Toys-R-Us next.

looking for a good place to learn and debate. This was the first forum that had a decent design and layout. I remained because it was awesome

I did a search for "religious forum" and this is what I got. I was looking for a forum in which to discuss many different religions that wasn't entirely Christian based. Great fit.

Ah, I just noticed the DEC 2004. You're right! Just turned 7 years! I knew I started in 2004, but I didn't know it was December.

Ok, so 10 months from now, we can call it ungodly? Can we have a party and everything?

That's OK, you're allowed to be offended.

But to be clear, I was comparing other websites to Toys-R-Us, not Christians.

I googled 'religious forums'. like others I looked for a multi-faith, possibly multi cultured international forum in order to talk about world religion, and esoterism.
I hoped for a forum where I can discuss various religious beliefs, from the most eccentric to the more interesting aspects of world religions. sometimes RF meets this ideal. either way, I ended up getting to know some great individuals, even if some of them don't post as often as they used to when I joined, or even stopped posting all together.

I was looking for some place online to while away the hours while the meds took effect. Found RF through an ad on another, much less active forum.

After my old forums closed, I googled around for fundies to troll, err, debate and came across RF.
