The genetic capacity to develop more advanced language is present in all apes just not selected for as it was in humans. Shrimp seem to lack this capacity in the near future but evolution can be convergent thus we never know. Whales are limited in lacking sufficient dexterity at this point. The post is not that humans are not different just that the gap between humans and other apes is less than humans and shrimp. Thus the premise for the argument of a gap between humans and animals is incorrect. Humans are animals and there are greater differences within the animal kingdom than can separate humans from animals.Depends. According to the history of mankind (not monkeys), quite a bit different. How come it took so long (according to some, millions of years of longevity of humankind) for mankind to suddenly make the explosion within the past decades in utilizing fuel, but monkeys, apes, shrimp, whales stay static for far longer. Humans have that capability, apparently (<g>) whales, monkeys and gorillas do not. Or maybe they just don't feel the need for that. You think?
