Humans are not superior to other animals because there is no attribute that we have to a greater extent than animals that we would feel is a fair judgement of superiority if we made same comparison across humanity. For example, we don't consider less intelligent humans to be inferior to more intelligent humans and so we shouldn't consider animals to be inferior for being less intelligent.
If the "set of all thing" is well-ordered by superiority then the subset that does not include the least element (most inferior) is superior.gnomon said:Superior to nature? How can a subset be superior to the set of all things?
