HW Help: interview for a world religion paper

Hello! I am currently a college student and am taking a world religion class. I’ve been assigned to conduct an interview of someone that is passionate and knowledgeable about their faith. I have already done one about Christianity so preferably any other religion will do! Thank you so much! Here are the ten questions and do not worry it is all anonymous there will be no names or info in my paper!

1: What religion do you belong to and what subgroup (if any)?

2:Has your religion been with you your whole life or at some point did you choose it?

3: As simply as possible what does your faith tradition teach?

4:How does your religion shape your daily life?

5: What is a common misconception about your faith tradition?

6: what is the most difficult thing about belonging to your faith community?

7: Where do you find beauty in your religion?

8:what experiences have you had that cause you to believe your religion is true?

9: How does your religion understand other religions ( I.e., are people outside your religion lost in some way?)?

10: is there anything you wish were different about your faith tradition?

Please be as descriptive and thorough as possible! Again thank you so much!

Hi, and welcome to RF.

The "(if any)" seems to indicate that also non-religious views about religion are, but the rest is very specific towards religions. Can you clarify?

Here are the ten questions
Hello @Bails_B,
Welcome to RF. Below are my 10 answers
Enjoy your Spiritual journey
Love, Peace and Blessings
@stvdv

1: What religion do you belong to and what subgroup?
Sanathana Dharma = The Ethernal Dharma
(Dharma: Divine Law ... righteous actions)
No subgroup.
2:Has your religion been with you your whole life or at some point did you choose it?
Yes and No. I was born in Holland in a Christian family. Around age 24 I traveled around the world, meeting all kind of Religious people, and reading quite a few Scriptures. Around age 26, I went to India, and fell in love with Sanathana Dharma; this felt like coming home
3: As simply as possible what does your faith tradition teach?
Hurt Never, Help Ever
Love All, Serve All
4:How does your religion shape your daily life?
My Religion makes me happy
IF I Am happy
Others will be happy
All will be happy
5: What is a common misconception about your faith tradition?
Misconception: That I believe in many Gods
The Truth what I believe:
"There is 1 God, addressed by many names"
6: what is the most difficult thing about belonging to your faith community?
Goal of life = To not be born again
How to achieve = Know "Who Am I"?
Simple challenge (3 words), but not easy
7: Where do you find beauty in your religion?
I find beauty within: Truth + Righteousness
IF I adhere to these, I feel Peace within, and there is Non-Violence. All these have Divine Love at their core
8:what experiences have you had that cause you to believe your religion is true?
I don't say "my Religion is true"
I say "my Religion leads to Truth"

This way I stay humble, and free from the biggest obstacle on the Spiritual Path, which is Spiritual Arrogance (to believe "My Religion is the true Religion, implying others are inferior")
9: How does your religion understand other religions ( I.e., are people outside your religion lost in some way?)?
All Religions have the potential to guide you to the Truth. Never belittle Feelings or Faith of others. Major spiritual obstical is "Religious Supremacy", to believe in exclusiveness. I believe in inclusiveness.
10: is there anything you wish were different about your faith tradition?
No.

My Faith is just fine as it is. I have spend 10 years of my life, living with my Master in India, who personally taught me all I know, and to whom I am eternally grateful.
