I am the son of god. The god and I are one.

So God's will is bound by a book's word? Wouldn't that make the book itself more powerful than god himself if it can dictate to him what he can and cannot, will and will not, do?
You might could look at it that way, but I prefer to think of it as God won't break his word. Which gives assurance of things to come.

Or another way, is that the words in the bible are part of God, and much like my left leg, I wouldn't do anything to compromise my left leg, because it is part of me, God won't do anything to compromise things that are a part of him.

Isn't that possible to view it that way?

If you want to portray god as an ogreish and infantile buffoon, sure.

But God can do ANYTHING he wants. He can change his mind if he wanted to. And as he is infallible, no harm will come to him for any of his actions. He would be compromising nothing.

And do you think that God's words that have been interpreted by man are more valid than God's words from God himself?

Now, I must ask you, dust1n, my lord. Can you describe yourself?
Are you an unshaven Middle-Eastern Liberal Jew with a mullet and dressed like a hippie?
And are you going to run for president?
Would your conservative followers vote for you?

Yes! Best apostle yet.

How did you know?

The laws of god (aka.. my teachings) are above the laws of men.

Would your conservative followers vote for you?
No, but they would vote for anyone who claims to follow me.

For even though there are those who are called “gods,” whether in heaven or on earth, just as there are many “gods” and many “lords,”

Anyone care to prove me wrong?

I reckon that you are a part of God, as in..... a tiny tiny part of the whole, rather than a 'son of'...

Proof? Ummmm..... ok...... why don't you go stand next to your local mountain, and have a look at it's hugeness, then have a look at your tinyness?

The mountain is still only a tiny tiny part of God. The Milky Way Galaxy is still only a tiny........ etc........

But I would still try to treat you with the respect due to a tiny part of God.

Well obviously the father is much larger than me, but I am very much the son.

No way... God doesn't reside in the physical. He oversees it with something akin to a giant magnifying class.

But I would still try to treat you with the respect due to a tiny part of God.
Playing it safe. :D
