I am going to tell you a story.
While driving, I saw a sign with an arrow which read, "Good Will by the Pound", but I read it saying, Good Will by The Pond. I drove into the Industrial center to find the Good Will by the pond. I found the Good Will. No pond. Even when I walked in I was still wondering about the pond. Am I retarded?
The things were not set up like any Good Will stores I ever saw. (The Good Will is a recycle company of thrift.) All the things that could fit inside a large rolling canvas box were in the box. "Oh wonderful", thought I. What is this place? I asked a woman who I thought looked nice, she was, and she told me it is sold by the pound in this place. Hmmm. I wondered how much things weighed.
What they do is they charge 30 cents a pound for books; ninety-nine cents a pound for clothes and stuff. They weigh it in the cart. If it is big and heavy someone nice will assign a price for it. I might go there again sometime.
They do not bag the stuff. Every so often the carts are wheeled out and more carts are wheeled in. The people stand behind a line until the carts are all in.
It was fun. Some people wear gloves.
