I can't get no, satisfaction?

Wow! That would perhaps be most satisfying for me, too.
I can understand why many will have other things than physical challenges but for me this one stands out as many things came to fruition - having the necessary skills, being fit enough, we trusted each other, and the weather was fine. Such that the feeling on top didn't hinder our progress down and we weren't exhausted when we finished. One of our group was waiting for us at a nearby bar - he probably knew when the last cable-car down was - and we were so pleased to see him, and the beers. He had done the climb previously so probably knew how we felt. He had an injury so was off climbing for a bit. For some reason I do or did tend to feel much satisfaction from such endeavours and particularly in such beautiful surroundings.
