I Counted the number of Bibles in my Home

My son had a project first day of school to count the number of Bibles in his home. We got to 19, but I'm sure there are more somewhere still packed away in the attic. Anyway can anyone beat that? If you can you have great faith. :clap

I wanted to get to 20 to make sure I had a spot in Heaven. :p

I'm sorry, I honestly can't tell... this is a joke right?

What kind of project for a child is that?? Are you sending him to a christian school?

19? Why in the world would you need THAT many?

I believe that's a symptom of obsessive-compulsive disorder.

I'd call it more pack-ratish. But the idea of having multiple bibles is interesting. For example if one wanted to really study differences in translations or past interpretaions and prevailing though's a collection of different bibles would be useful.

It's the idea that it's a school project that worries me, and the suggestion that multiple bibles equel great faith that makes me think this was meant as a joke.

No Joke, I guess I just collected them over the years, got news ones for b-day, Christmas, buy new versions, etc... Yes a private Christian school, what else? ROFL

I wrote my own Bible and I have about 2,784 copies left floating around the house, what do I win?

I have zero - unless you count the internet which is where I actually read it.

I do however have 4 copies of the Rubaiyat. One rather rare. A 1908 edition in leather with gold leaf.

Oh, and I have 3 copies of the works of Shakespeare.

Do I win anything?:D

I have one copy of the Bible. I don't like to litter my bookshelves up with too much rubbish.

I found another Bible, seriously, that's 20. This is fun, like easter egg hunting. I'm sure I have at least 5 more somewhere.

Edit: Oh yes, I have 3 in my car right now.

You already have (whatever my differences with you) impeccable taste in literature and poetry. You've already won.
