I guess I don't see the point

I would wager more than terrorist on here talking about their religion and the need to kill you.
If there are, I'd advise them not to put their believes in the shooting gallery of religious debates. I'd still debate you but in a much different way if it was on a psychology forum.

What is the point of debating anyone about "their" belief and faith? To try to tear them down?
Faith and belief may be all someone has that keeps them going. Why would I want to take that way?

Have you ever considered you could be wrong with your assumptions?
Have you ever considered that they're posting in a debate forum and want to debate?
Have you ever considered there are non debate sections anyone can use?
Have you considered it's fine for people not to agree?
And the most important one... whinging about people debating on a debate forum is ridiculous!

Ok. Scenario...

You can't show evidence your god exist. The bible is full of lies. Your god is a myth. You got suckered into nonsense.

I just as well say your belief and faith are BS.
It depends upon what believes. Some beliefs amount to calling one's own God a liar. If a person has a terribly self refuting belief system and then worse yet tries to use that to justify bad behavior I will call them out for it. If they want to deny science, concepts that can be tested and confirmed or refuted, and they oppose them simply because their interpretation of their holy book disagrees with that I will try to explain how if a God exists that theirs cannot be the right version.

Let's take an extreme. There are Flat Earth believers that believe the Earth is flat because a very literal reading of the Bible describes the Earth as flat. In fact one has to use eisegesis to try to claim otherwise. Is it wrong to correct someone's Flat Earth believes when if one has a good quality cell phone one can show that the horizon drops in a jet airplane?

How many real debates have you seen here, minus bias, opinion, projection and belief?

But you didn't disgree, which is all fine if you do.
You simply whined about my answer

Ok now I have more time, I was preping and cooking tea.

I disagree with your summation of my post, I thought it was comedy gold considering I did in between top and tailing beans, and putting the chicken schnitzel in the air fryer.

In fact I disagree with the whole premise of the thread and have stated that fact several times but you have to yet acknowledge it's a debate forum.

I guess I dont see the point. Is there something I am missing?

I don't participate in religious debates much at all because....
1. Its about belief and faith
2. Who am I to tell anyone their belief and faith is BS
3. Sometimes belief and faith is all someone has
4. I don't know if a god does exist or not
5. What do I gain by trying to tear others down

Those are 5 reasons why you don't see me participate in religious debates or discussion very much.
I think if someone is"seeking the Truth" they ought to be willing to test their faith/belief. They don't want to be having a belief that is wrong.
So, I am simply providing a service to them by, hopefully asking tough questions, that help them to weed out any untrue beliefs.

That’s perhaps because you appear genuinely interested in seeking the truth for yourself, and are respectful of others who see things differently than you. Those are rare qualities, especially in debates.

Few truths are absolute, btw. Everything we perceive to be true, depends upon a frame of reference unique to each observer.
