My problem on this subject is that in a few weeks time the city of Sarlat (just 20k from home) is holding its annual weekend long chocolate festival. How am i going to manage to get any sleep

Good point, but I don't think it will work, though I have read that even only five minutes of vigorous exercise before eating will cause appetite suppression.
