It never ceases to amaze me how many guys are so brave on
the internet...ready to resort to fisticuffs...calling others cowards.
Setting aside the stupidity of needless physical violence, bravery
backed up only by fingers on a keyboard smells so....empty.
No.The real question is, are you willing to say that to the OP's face in a dark alley?
No.
But I'm not one with the puffed up chest claiming to be macho.
I'll avoid unnecessary fights.
It can also lead to concussions & long term drooling.I'm just in it knowing well there's a 0.01% chance that a fierce spat can lead to a long-term romantic relationship.
There was also a science-fiction story about real war games. Each side chose the same number of soldiers and had the same weapons. The weaponry was chosen to exclude nukes and mass destruction weapons of any kind. The entire spectacle was broadcast on TV as well.
The object was to be the last survivor. In the story the survivor was granted immunity from all laws - he could do anything he wanted and not be punished for it.
The winning country was, of course, the winner of the dispute which caused the war.
but I can still put 3 rounds dead center mass in a second and a half.
A person in a wheel chair could do that with some training. It takes skill and grit for hand to hand combat[/QUO
Yes, but it is foolish if you can avoid it, unless you are doing it as a sport. A physical attack intent on harm requires an appropriate response. There is no fair fight, just a winner and a loser. Defend with a rock, a knife, a gun. In high school kids settled things on the football field after class, there were rules and they were followed, it was a fist fight.A person in a wheel chair could do that with some training. It takes skill and grit for hand to hand combat
On the street there are no rules, except I am walking away as unharmed as possible, and if the other guy is a leaking bag of tissue, so be it
Real men use their words and fists.
