Assalamu Alaikum brothers and sisters!
In Islam, Jesus in an important person. He is a messenger and the messiah (correct me if I'm wrong). However he isn't God like in Christian thought.
But Jews, to this day, say that he didn't fulfil the requirements to be a messiah. So is Jesus, similar to Christian beliefs, to fulfil these requirements at another point according to Islam? Or is there another explanation to why Jesus is the messiah and why Jews rejected him?
Sorry if this was answered before and thank you for answers!
