I have discovered for myself that the Burning Bush Unites the World Religions

I don't disagree with you. Brush fires, like other natural disasters, can really unite communities in a common purpose and get people to set aside their differences. ;)

How does the Burning Bush provide "proof" to atheists? Are you talking about the story in the Old Testament, or do you mean some modern-day "Burning Bush"?

Moses, Mt.Sinia, talking Bush? Someone has alot of opinions of "religions" based on observasion of what they have done and not they were intended to to.
Sikhs, Buddhists, Muslums, Jews, Christians, and Hindus all share the same foundation. But it seems to be that most followers neglect the foundation and replacate the houses built upon it without replicateing the foundation at all.
Heaven is not a place nor a state of mind, but a state of being-Just as Hell is. "I AM that I AM" we are all THE I AM. "I AM, the light the way and the Truth". "I AM the Light that Lighteth everyman that cometh into the world".
"I AM, therefore I AM the I AM. I AM the I AM, therefore I AM that I AM. I AM that I AM therefore I AM with God."-B.R.B.

I'm familiar with the Moses fable, but what relevance or interest does it have to anyone outside the abrahamic faiths?

The I AM is the foundation. The Burning Bush is a symbol. The Truth is within. Understanding and Meditating on "I AM that I AM" provides the proof and experience everyone requests. Only the sincere shall find the truth, for only the sincere shall induce what they seek. The doubtful will not turn every stone nor shall the ones who follow blindly, those who are truly aware of their ignorance shall become truly aware of everything. Sincerely question everything and know that you don't know and live in the realm of possibility-For the realm of possibility is where everything came from.

If it does for you, I have no reason to question that, but I don't think it does that for everyone.

Only the sincere shall find the truth, for only the sincere shall induce what they seek.
That's rather convenient.

All right. For starters, I question this claim of yours, which so far, you haven't substantiated.

While I generally agree, I think you are really missing something by blindly following the translational habit of writing the Tetragrammaton in English as "I am that I am." Really missing something.

The Lost One
So is the god - I AM THE SHRUB?

Or is it - I AM THE FIRE?

Do you then just worship the fire or the bush? Or do you worship both - the burning bush?

I have seen a shrub. And I have seen fire. I have even seen a bush fire. We get them every summer.

But I have yet to see a burning bush that can talk. Do bush talk?

I supposed Bush can talk, yammering about war against terrorists and WMDs, and whole 9-yard of freedom and democracy that I want to shove my dirty socks down his throat before gagging him.

Perhaps, I'd shove one of my niece's smelly socks down Bush's throat, for good measure. :p

Now where were we? I think I've lost track of the conversation.

Oh

Burning bush. Now I remember.

Oh . Sure we can. I guess we can burn George Bush if you want. I can provide the gas, if you can bring the matches. :candle: We can have a big bonfire going.

:camp:

And if you can't get the shrubbery, is it an adequate substitute to cut down the largest tree in the forest with . . . a MACKEREL!
The holy hand grenade might suffice as well.
