No it does not require that.
I used to play tennis. My religion has tennis. Well at least it did until its only adherent blew out his knee.
Walngarpiril has more of a social philosophy than an ethical code. Descriptive rather than prescriptive ethics. A combination of cultural relativism, moral relativism, and psychological egoism.Does your religion have any other requirements?

I'll add that.I think most ultimately create their own internalized version of religion anyway. They modify the idea of God to their liking and pick and choose between tenants they feel appropriate. They just like to feel there's a connection to an "authorized" revealed religion.

Nobody asked about your religion, but that is too bad. I myself do not have a tennis practice, but I am curious about hockey which is a sort of tennis/golf/ice amalgam. It sounds silly but its quite dangerous and violent. My religion has tennis. Well at least it did until its only adherent blew out his knee.
I originally created the religion for a constructed culture in an alternate history project but eventually realized I believed what I had created. What made you decide to create your own religion?
Nobody asked about your religion...

This is a summary of Walngarpiril beliefs. It is not complete. It also only describes orthodox Walngarpiril, not my modernized practice thereof:Welcome aboard. What are the tenets of your religion?
I have not made any religious sports, although I find the mesoamerican ballgame to be an interesting example.But...but...
I suppose I was just helping you have an encounter.
Nobody asked about hockey.
So I guess I will. Hey, @Eorlhu, what are the hockeys of your religion? I have yet to encounter a religion with hockey.

It doesn't make any evaluations. It says violence happens because of this. Violence is prevented by this. If you commit violence, this will happen. If this happens, you will commit violence.Seriously though, what is your religion's stance on violence? Acceptable? If so, under what circumstances.
I am sure there is a term for that in the dictionary or if not at least in the philosophical encyclopedia. I would call it the 'Genesis' of a new religion, but that term is already taken.I originally created the religion for a constructed culture in an alternate history project but eventually realized I believed what I had created.
That question is da bomb.But...but...

Which came first, the conlang, the conculture, the alternate history, the altEarth, or the religion?I originally created the religion for a constructed culture in an alternate history project but eventually realized I believed what I had created.
