I have what I dub the "possible afterlife" and it involves whatever you believe in but not too much

What is safe, cozy, warm, and troubless?

What is hopeful, yet achieved even in the direst of circumstances?

What is most sought after above even Mercy and is good for being so?

What is The Big Shabangabang at the end of our lives?

It is what comes after death

That which we talk about with great awe is not anyone’s

But ours

Our yet living brain continues on for it’s short but not bleak time

The chemicals that come from within move us without to give us our afterlife

And like any trip it is The Tripper's brain who decides the trip

It is the brain who decides what to do with it

There is no punishment

An entire new soul seems to be born, but it is the same soul you always were

Your thoughts, memories, communication capability, your likes and dislikes

EVerything that goes into making you you except for your body

It is not with pipes we see

And a new background begins and those seconds to the old us, our husk

Shoot into eons

And we are connected to The Ocean

And it is ours to enjoy

The seconds into millennia may contain all kinds of situations

They connect us with The Ocean

They fill us with fulfillment by pleasantness

Could it ever end?

I don’t know

Could we see our families again?

Possibly

Where does the consciousness go when it ceases to function?

To which does the soul migrate

Science, Philosophy and Religion has found thus far

But queries must continue

So that they might eventually be found

But then there is a natural, evolved to, just should be continuing of awareness; the next bit of the Ocean doing the wave

Your body goes back to Nature and your consciousness, who you are,

Recycles into The Void and we become One with The All

Indeed

Death means just Life

But also, Life needs Death

Without death, there are too many and everything is sick.

But only that dust fragment much

There is most of The Place that stays healthy, because it’s what we’re supposed to do with what we have

Most goes on after us, no matter how big the thing that happens to us is

RF offers many different areas for sharing/discussion/debate. Why litter the Science and Religion forum?
Because the postulation within the poem relies heavily on the cornerstone of science used in it's very process: scientific facts. We do have near death experiences sometimes, we do recycle back into nature and our consciousness does become nothing (and that might not mean the end because consciousness may be an illusion caused by the collapse of the wave function

Kathryn

It was on fire when I laid down on it.
I mean, I don't get why the poem is in this section, and I also don't get the comments. Oh, and I also don't care.
