Or, if your adventurous, jail brake your phone and install a custom firmware and free yourself of the preinstalled limitations. It will void your warranty though (you'll have to completely wipe the phone to it's out-of-the-box state before it's serviced-easy for Android but I don't know about Windows), and you will need to back up your data and contacts first.

I like windows 7, I heard some negative things about windows 10, so I'm putting that of for now.
I can't say anything about a phone, but 10 really isn't that bad. It's interface is what Windows should be, rather than a jumbled mess that is 8, and from my experience it's been pretty good, except for my PC that suffered drops to the internet speeds (this did not happen on my dad's computer or my laptop). Really, since it's free, it's worth getting it since programs probably won't be written for 7 much longer.
But, with 10, there are many things you have to turn off if you don't want everything you do being sent to Microsoft and advertising/marketing affiliates.

No, thanks. I did that with my iPod and it sucked.

7 is so outdated. I loved it, too, but my hard drive that had it on it died. So it was RIP to Windows 7. I installed Windows 10 on my laptop as soon as I got the upgrade download a few minutes after midnight on the release date. :)

Yea, I like the PC better, if something happens its much easier to fix or add whatever to it, than a laptop, I'm due for a new computer soon so I'll get windows 10 then, thanks for the info though.

I like it since I got it the way I want. I turned Cortana off, uninstalled the apps that are just advertising or that I'll never use, completely disabled Windows Defender and OneDrive, installed a new start menu with a custom start button, fixed the privacy settings, changed the default programs, etc.

It's a good OS.

I see, that's great info for me when I get mine, I'm glad I asked you.

I wi

l'll take anything you can give, I'm pretty good with computers, but certainly not the best.
I'm not the best, either. I killed my first computer and killed the original hard drive on this laptop. I've killed a school computer from this online school I was in, too. I've lost hundreds of gigs of data each time. Lol. I just learn from trial and error. My computer is working now, though. No more blue screens of death or random shutdowns (since I've adjusted the CPU power since my cooling system is for ****).

Yea this is why I like the PC, they don't over heat and if anything goes wrong, there easier to fix than a laptop, and replace parts, plus I am only on the computer at home.

I don't think it's that hard to replace laptop parts. I know how to take mine apart. I took it apart and replaced the hard drive. I broke a couple keys off of my keyboard, but that doesn't really matter. Lol.

Wow, it does sound like you know about computers, more than I. I think.

I rather prefer people who afford all their attention to mobile phones.
It's a relatively new way of conversation, one of which the older generations are left behind in.
If you want to converse with someone who enjoys their phone, text them.

Talking isn't a requirement. And people being quiet is a preference of mine.
I work in a library after all :D .

Also, they aren't at all like zombies, imo.
They may pay loads of attention to their devices, but they are mostly interactive and vocal on the internet.
