And today, Totalstranger taught me "extraneous" (not related to me people :slap:).. :D

My english isn't that bad, but ofcourse I cannot know every word in english.. Thankfully there is such a thing as forums and internet..
A long time ago I asked if you should write 'ofcourse' with one f or double f.. Almost nobody understood why I used double ff.. Untill I explained that double ff doesn't happen that much in dutch, but in english.. "off". I still don't know why I wanted to use the double f in ofcourse though..

Good for you! Learning (and using) a new word every day is great great for the vocabulary and good excercise. Keep it up.
I'm not sure why, but one of my favorite English words is 'penultimate."

I should have put the meaning before:

the doctrine or political position that opposes the withdrawal of state recognition of an established church; - used especially concerning the Anglican Church in England. Opposed to disestablishmentarianism.

even the meaning is a mouthful

Better yet, write 'of course' as the two words it is. ;)

Minute(meaning 60 seconds) Minute (meaning very small) these words are homographs and depend on the context they are used, for example "i have a Fishing pole" and i am going to the North pole" same word different meanings, are there such words in Dutch.

Huh, I'm somewhat fascinated by newer words entering the English language.

ginormous - exceedingly or very large
beeramid - a pyramid made from beer cans
hacktivism - practice of promoting an activist agenda by hacking a website
microserf - An individual working in a low-paid service industry position using information technologies

Today I learned "incubus" is a deamon. The only incubus I knew was the band and for me it was just a name. Now all of a sudden the name seems just incorrect.. :S

I always thought it was stupid name for the band as well. Natuurlijk I could be wrong if they had a good reason behind the name. ;)

You can't learn incubus without learning succubus as well, plus succubi are more fun :)
