I love the ritual but the faith

As I said, I love the rituals of catholicism, espcially the Latin Mass, I was raised cafeteria Catholic, we never went to church, they actually allowed me to grow up free of religion and let me choose my own.
I practically "indoctrinated" myself, but I am not Christian anymore, I left for a really stupid reason, but I have developed reasons not to be a Christian. But is there a rligion like Catholicism? I would be a Catholic, but I have absolutly not faith in Jesus at all.

Belief in Jesus is sort of central to Catholicism...so I'm not sure how you could find a religion like Catholicism that doesn't believe in Jesus' divinity. I'm a former Catholic as well. What's wrong with humanism?

EDIT: Oh and welcome to the site :)

Humanism is too individualist, in my oppnion the individuel dosn't really matter in the grand scheme of things.

If it's the ritual you like I really see no reason why you can't just attend a latin mass from time to time. You would have to refrain from receiving communion since communion is a sign that you accept the faith, including belief in Jesus. Latin masses are becoming easier to find. Also you might try attending one of the Eastern Rite churches (Eastern Orthodox, Byzantine Catholic etc) since their rituals are similar.

As far as finding a religion that has the trappings of Catholicism without the theological baggage (if that is an accurate description of what you are looking for) I really don't know of anything off the top of my head. I think there are some Latin American religions that are a mix of Catholicism and local religions. That might be a place to start looking.

Peace in your search and welcome to RF!

I think you can go to a Reform synagogue, if I may say so here. Jews have liturgical services, and a lot of Reform Jews are atheists just in it for the heritage, though not all.

I find the idea of one god, not to be the most logical and I still like Catholcism lol.

To love the ritual is, in some measure, to love the object of the faith itself, to perceive Him in some way.

I encourage you to attend as often as you'd like. Be as cafeteria a Catholic as you'd like, though you might refrain from communion to respect the community's beliefs. Love of beauty is the beginning of the love of God.
