Wow. Just wow. You’re a little late to the party. He has been advocating for this premise for quite some time across the forum.
Then defend your use of it.
I can't do that any more then I can pretend to believe that santa claus is real or that an invisible dragon is about to eat me.Those who don’t believe in Christ, I challenge you to pretend that you do for about a week and come back here and tell me if you feel any different. You have to pretend that Christ is alive in your heart though. Whatever that means to you. See ya in a week.
Kind of like when you’re a little kid and you pretend to be this or that.
It’s not that difficult.
When it comes to playing pretend, I have more confidence in most kids than in some adults. Unlike what some psychologists say, kids can distinguish reality from fiction. They don't eat the cake they baked from sand.So when you were a kid and pretended to be superman... would you then jump from a skyscraper "pretending" you could fly?
Or is there a difference between actually honestly believing something and just "pretending"?
As the saying goes "fake it till you make it"With all due respect, I don't see how anyone can 'pretend' that Christ is alive in their heart.
A person either feels that way or not ....
If they were only pretending that would mean that they did not really believe that Christ was alive in their heart.
I know that Jesus Christ is alive in my heart, and also in heaven, which is why I cry out to Jesus often, since I know that Jesus can intercede on my behalf.
I tried it for muc longer than a week (ca. 35 years ago), seemed to take an eternity, but finally it did workThose who don’t believe in Christ, I challenge you to pretend that you do for about a week and come back here and tell me if you feel any different. You have to pretend that Christ is alive in your heart though. Whatever that means to you. See ya in a week.

Don't Hollywood "stars" don't start that way?
Thanks, I didn't know that phrase“Look the part, be the part, mother****er”

But I did not do that. And yes, when you make such a claim you do need to show that was what someone did. You ignored the reasoning behind the upgrade and made a false claim about it.I didn’t use a logical fallacy; I pointed out your use of the appeal to popular opinion fallacy, which was pretty much textbook and, being plain to see, really requires no explanation from me.
