Logically, a god could be cruel, unreasonable & discriminatory.
If so, we just prefer our own standards to his / her / its.

But infinite intelligence (which would naturally lead to infinite understanding) would be a defining quality of a supreme being, and being petty and infantile would run contrary to that.
Great intelligence & understanding are separate qualities from compassion.

but I am HUGE on equality of rights and freedoms.
Every one of these victories
means empowerment for individuals
to LIVE OUT WHO THEY ARE,
publically , without fear or shame.
To claim benefits and rights
without discrimination.
It is a travestey the way those of differing orientations
are treated as second class citizens,
and it needs to come to an end.

I think that i have not found any two thought process that are logical from using all the information i have.
I think in early age that infinite intelligence could become stupid that destroys infinite intelligence from using information in a thought process that does not deviate.

Not everyone is homosexual.
The subset that is homosexual should be able to marry who they want to, just like how the subset that is heterosexual gets to marry who they want to.

Unfortunatly there are millions of people out there whose little book tells them otherwise. As these people are either incapable of thinking for themselves or simply choose to suspend thought where their little book is involved homophobia is and will remain rampant.

If you are speaking of the terms used in filing marriage licenses and certificates, then I would imagine that most places do how Iowa has ours and just lists "Spouse A" and "Spouse B". There is no more mentioning of "husband" or "wife" or "bride" or "groom" on those documents anymore. Just "spouse".
