I vow to never change my religious status!

Sha'irullah

رسول الآلهة
Many of you may be wondering about my constant changing of religious status and be underneath the impression that I am a seeker of some kind or confused spiritually. Considering that I do not believe in the spirit I will say that NO I have kept the same "religion" I have had since day one of my arrival.

The primary issue is that I change my status in accordance to what I am studying or learning about, not what I am practicing. If I am learning about Judaism I may use the title "Pseudo Jew" for example.

But as of now I vow to keep my status the same .

My goal to revive Arabian Paganism is being completed and now I shall profess to you all that my current title stays!

why don't stay artiest not believing in anything until you truly believe in something true and not believe in what it convinces you to be more logical and relevant , moreover the believers never use the logic instead they use their trust and heart to believe in the unseen because one of the things to be good believers is to be believing in the unseen and to believe god without having seeing him personally . this is the big trick in three religions like Islam,Christianity and Judaism , they all have the same truth and they believe in the same God.

Because he's not an atheist.

Because he's not an atheist.

Actually to a certain definition I am an atheist.

If a person watches 4 hours of Christopher Hitchens debates and roots for him the whole time, does that not qualify me as an atheist?
Perhaps I have it wrong :D.

Kidding aside, I have always told people I am not a theist nor an atheist although I am atheistic enough to qualify.
If you ever see my rants on religion(which I shan't post here) you may question by sincerity in god .

Naw...you're more like a contrarian...lol

But assuming your deistic beliefs are truly stated, you're not an atheist. Anti-religious sentiment, and love for cutting wit would be more than enough to have you rooting for Hitchens.

no need to ever "change" religious status. you just start adding them together and call it augmenting.

why limit yourself that way?

accumulating religions just means that you are open to the human experience and that need not be the same as gathering discreet units of information and simply ordering them on a shelf without an attempt to integration on an intellectual level.

or do you think that cyborgs are capable of intellectual discourse that falls outside the perimeter of their programming?

Not being able to decide is a sure sign of a weak minded person

True, I have no issues accumulating knowledge about religions and it is actually a hobby of mine.

When SkyNet is complete cyborgs will be capable of a whole lot more than intellectual discourse buddy.;)

when you add another base of knowledge to what you already possess, then it is not being undecided, you made the decision to do so. and why are you seeing this as so black and white? learn to live in the grey areas and embrace flexibility. it allows you to see and learn a whole lot more than hiding behind fixed categories does.

True, I have no issues accumulating knowledge about religions and it is actually a hobby of mine.
then start looking at the syncretism inherent in all those religious traditions you have encountered, and start thinking about the why and wherefore of that system.

and that pessimism comes from the fear that you cannot control it? is this what you fear, the loss of control? welcome to the real world, bud.

Adding another layer of knowledge is different from changing your opinions altogether. Imagine converting to a new religion every week. This is the obvious sign of gullibility.

I myself live in the blurred lines of Deism, panentheism and Paganism. I have no issues blurring lines.

I have been doing so for years as of now.

Loss of control? I do not fear the loss of control, for crying out loud I have Slave of God written as my title. On top of that I have the word proud in front of it. You also must have not heard of my theological opinions regarding humanity's free will and god. Lack of control is of no issue for me

yeah, sure. dream on. you may think you control all that matters to you but that's just an illusion. you too can get run over by a truck and then all those things you've done for years mean nothing and you start from scratch again.

Agreed. I have stated this before many times so I fail to understand why you are repeating my own views. I have made it abundantly clear that nobody is in control of their own fate yet alone destiny. This is coming from a person who doe snot even believe in free will

you suffer from the illusion that i am a groupie who has nothing better to do than read all your posts. so forgive me when i simply responded to those last few ones and did not do a thorough study of all your pronouncements.

maybe what you mean to say is not what comes across.
