I've heard scientists are planning to do the same with cave lions. Though I'll be surprised if they can find a modern lionness to implant any embryos into as cave lions were bigger than today's lions - which would make birthing any such cubs risky for the mother.

I have a better solution.
A war with nukes and woolly mammoths! After we nuke our foes, we can grind the survivors under mammoth toes. It rhymes so it must be best way.
