he said it with an entirely straight face...very serious.

That's got to be the most frustrating thing ever...I mean, how can you talk to people who will believe anything to keep their faith? These people aren't searching for truth, they just want to believe in their one religion so badly that they'll resort to time travelling demons and metaphysical conspiracies. Oy veh, that's my rant!
