I want to know

Actually the Word is Logos. It means the words of God and it relates to Jesus as God's spokesman...the one who speaks God's words.

1 Thessalonians 2:13...."For this reason we also constantly thank God that when you received the word (logos) of God which you heard from us, you accepted it not as the word (logos) of men, but for what it really is, the word (logos) of God, which also performs its work in you who believe."

1 Cor 2:4...."and my speech and what I preached were not with persuasive words (logos) of wisdom but with a demonstration of spirit and power".

So it is very much a case of the "word" (logos) being the spoken word which can be heard from either God or men.
The word can be in both written and spoken form.

The Bible is scripture which is "inspired of God" or "God breathed" (2 Tim 3:16, 17)....any way you look at it....the word of God, whether written or spoken, is the product of his holy spirit.

So you are right....it is a language thang.......It's all in the Greek. :)
Why do Christians talk about Jesus, but then have to quote Paul to make their point? Pauls teachings were not the teachings of Jesus and often opposes The teachings of Jesus.

When Jesus told me to get more into the Word, I assumed he meant to get more into him. I always had thought of Jesus being the Word of God.

Jesus’ reply to me was: “Also the written Word.”

Jesus accepted it that I thought of him as the Word of God.

If you read and follow the words of Jesus, you will find an entirely different meaning than the one Christians usually call "The Gospel". The good news of Jesus comes only from his lips.

Does the research stand the scrutiny?

My research is thorough. Nothing could make me accept a lie as truth. If I don't research everything and prove it to myself, I have no business believing it. I can think black is white but if it isn't true, my belief is worthless.
I see the Bible as painting one picture. I don't see the pixels in isolation, but as all contributing to a complete work. Any dead pixels are inconsequential to the overall picture.

The world is full of human "beliefs" and most of them are worthless except to the person holding them. Despite the fact that they fiercely defend them, they are only of value to the believer. It doesn't make any of them true...does it?

I am a Christian, but I do not accept anything that Christendom promotes. But like the ancient Beoreans, spoken about in the scriptures, I check the validity of what is written by my teachers in everything. I know what I believe and why I believe it. When I have looked into other belief systems I found just as much "fantasy" as I am accused of accepting. It then becomes a case of "choose your fantasy"...doesn't it? No one can be 100% certain that their beliefs are correct...all they can do is follow what they "believe" is true.

We are all taught by someone, no matter what belief system we adopt....so those who teach only themselves have a fool for an educator IMO.

We are all under the watchful eye of our Creator in my belief system. He is the one who made the rules for living and for sharing life with other beings on this planet. He has a purpose to our existence and he has expectations regarding our conduct within the freedom he has granted us. This makes sense to me. The Bible's explanation for everything is the only one that means anything to me personally. It logically answers all my questions and gives me a hope for the future that no other belief system does.

So yes...this is the only belief system that stands up to my scrutiny.

Please.

What a Jehovah's witness calls "research" the rest of the world calls confirmation bias.

Why do Christians talk about Jesus, but then have to quote Paul to make their point? Pauls teachings were not the teachings of Jesus and often opposes The teachings of Jesus.

Please give examples, because Paul was used by Jesus in a powerful way to take the Christian message to the nations.

He was accepted by the other apostles and was used in promoting the Christian faith to the Gentiles. Unlike his fellow apostles, he was not one of the 12, but he was well educated as a Pharisee, and he had Roman citizenship which gave him advantages in his ministry.
His speech to the "men of Athens" was inspired. (Acts 17:22-31) The book of Acts was written by Luke.

I was commenting on a post. The post: " Actually the Word is Logos. It means the words of God and it relates to Jesus as God's spokesman...the one who speaks God's words.". The rest of the post cites not the words of Jesus, but of Paul. Mention Jesus then quote Paul.

But Bible (or Qur'an for Muslims) is not a fantasy. It is God's word.

I do not believe the Bible is as good as God. I think they do. Do you?
"I do not believe the Bible is as good as God" is contradict with "I think they do", right?

Because "I think they do" means 'I think they do indeed as good as God', right?

Thinking.................................I think some Christians teach that to know God is to know the Bible. Or to know the Bible their way is to know the True God. So to them, God=Bible.

why they call the Bible God's Word?
Why believer call the Bible God's Word?

Is it because the content inside the Bible write that its content is God's Word, and then the believer believe the validity of the content of Bible, so they call the Bible God's Word?

Jesus is God's Word. I know for certain that Jesus is not the Bible.
Who say's Jesus is God's Word?

Who say's Jesus is Bible?

John 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

What is the relevence between [why they call the Bible God's Word] and [Jesus is God's Word] and [I know for certain that Jesus is not the Bible] and [John 1:1] ?

Philippians 2:6
Who, being in very nature God, did not consider equality with God something to be used to his own advantage Philippians 2:6

Jesus the man did not consider himself equal to God, but people make The Bible equal to God. This is not right.
Who made the Bible equal to God? Source for their claims?

There is God. There is God the son. There is God the Holy Spirit. There is God the Bible. No?
Who said the Bible is God?

If the Bible is inerrant it is God too. How is that not true?
How is that true?

Why the Bible is inerrant?

How is it possible that the Bible is perfect but there are different versions of it?
There're many different versions of Bible bacause the need of different language versions of Bible by people, and that because there've many different interpretations to the Bible about which scripture should be include which shouldn't, which is perfect which isn't. And perhaps by mistranslation.

Because many believer insist that only their interpretation is correct, so, many of them cannot agree with each other, which in order many different versions of Bible appear and they may contradict to each other.

Only follow what one think is convince to himself, never follow other's opinion if the person disagree with it.

To know God is to know the Bible(words of God), it made sense.

To know the Bible(words of God) is to know the true God (as in try to channeling with true God?), how does it made sense?

What is the relevance with God=Bible?
Maybe it's a semantic or a metaphor linguistic.
