A good friend of mine (pdoel) was unjustly (in my opinion) banned from http://www.interfaithforums.com/index.php?

As a result, I resigned from that board--although they falsely have me designated as having been banned. (I was retrorich there also.)

Bottom line: Like it or not, you peeps will be seeing a lot more of me here.

I wonder how long it will take me to get banned here?

what counts as "unjust"? - can you give a small explanation why you were banned?

Always nice to see you, Michel! If all Administrators were as capable and pleasant to associate with as you are, forum boards would be much more enjoyable places. My best wishes to you and your wife.

I really enjoy this site. I think its great and the mods seem to be very reasonable.

I just looked at the other forum, RetroRich. I think RF is a much more pleasant forum to be on. Sometimes you can get a feeling of a forum just by the way it looks. Got a bad feeling on that other forum.

Actually, I tried it just to see if I could do it--and if I could fool Lightkeeper. I couldn't and was deactivated under that name. I will make no further attempt to post on that board, under any name.

Um...it is still active. If it wasn't, a person couldn't click on the name to get personal information, because that page wouldn't be there. It is still fully active. Also, this isn't the only post on the site by that other name. I just don't understand why someone who thought that a place was all that bad, that they would sneak back onto that site. It doesn't make any sense to me. If I leave a site because I don't like it, I sure don't go out of my way to go back.

I posted a thread as retrorich explaining in a polite and nonaccusatory way why I was leaving voluntarily, which Lightkeeper promptly deleted to make it appear that it was her idea to ban me. Shame on her!

That is all I have to say on the matter. I have no further interest in Interfaith Forums and will concentrate in participating in this board. PEACE

Many people frequent a number of forums on here and RF is not looking to be the forum known for derogatory remarks regarding other forums. I am locking this thread and would ask that as a general rule we don't make threads on here attacking the practices of other forums.

If you have complaints or problems with other forums please address those forums specified in the future and not vent your feelings or explain your position on this forum about the forums in question.

Rich, I want you to know this is not an attack on you but a precaution because many people on that forum post on here too. Nobody is getting any warning points or pm's I am just locking this thread.
