I would like some help with finding an english translation for these bhajans

These move my heart, bring tears to my face, cause my heart to chill....I think these are the same song...and I think they are both in Bengali. If anybody could help me at all please.....it would possibility the best thing anybody could do for me. It haunts my very soul that my the pure beauty of these escapes understanding. Beautiful Bhajans to Maa Kali. I understand a lot of words but my hindi is pretty rusty so I can't piece together a sentence for you. However they are much like the regular mangal aratis e.g.: Namaste Kali, i pay my oblations to you and your name. You who are the source of divine wisdom etc. Thats just some of what I heard. It's describing her potency and eternal nature.

I'm not sure, it probably is, I'm was able to pick up words but especially in songs it can be difficult to know what language it is specifically since they all have a lot of common words and when singing devotional songs there are a lot of lean words from Sanskrit.

 

[तत्त्वप्रह्व]

First 5 mins of the first one and the entire second one are renditions of selected ślokas from Caṇḍi pāṭh / Saptaśati found in the Mārkaṇḍeya Pu., in saṁskṛtaṁ, sounds bengali due to heavy accent of the singer. The recitation is allowed only by those with initiation into vidyas (at least in dakṣiṇa bhārata). Considered one of the greatest hymns of 700 verses indicated by its name saptaśati to Jagadīśvari in the entire purāṇa literature, each verse bestows specific results, no one returns empty handed from the Mother. Its a practice to worship Nārāyaṇi during the navrātras and this is one of the main hymns in the sādhana in addition to Śrī Sūkta, and sahasranāma.

Kalibhakta, do you see Kali as just the shakti component of Durga (Devi) or as Devi herself?

I see Mother Kali as Devi Herself, but I do not differentiate between Mother Durga and Mother Kali. In a Tantric text, Lord Shiva said that to differentiate between Mother Kali and Mother Tara is to risk Hell. I read that to mean "My Mother has Kali for her Ishta Devi form, but all goddesses are her." I also figure that is how Lord Shiva himself works. As I like to say, a Sword in the Hilt and a Sword that is Drawn is the same sword.

I cannot recommend that book as much as it deserves. Richly Translated, full of spirit. They are candles for dark times and that is one of my favorites.
