What would you do to a follower of a religion you just didn't like?

Be nice or be mean?
Mind your own business or intervene and speak your mind?

Go!

So far as I know, treating someone with basic human decency includes treating them with kindness, unless they are aliens, of course.

Well, if that's what human decency is, then be positive towards would be the one for you.

Mind your own business is more indifference and non-intervention and just walking away.

i think that we should be respectful to others especially where their beliefs are concerned so long as they are respectful to yours

UU. Postitive unless I see a drastic reason for otherwise. Like Catholic pedophiles for instance or white christian ayaranism. Other than that even if they tell me to burn in hell I am really collected. Been tested a lot recently at work where my atheist views came to light between T Shiavio the Pope and Bush'es theocratic theories. I am doing pretty well. Postitive attitude and remember good things about the person..plus Reza's wisdom, "what you believe is not who you are ...it is just what you believe..how you act and what you do is who you are." For the record Reza is a ****e muslim.

Scott great to see you.....What about something you dislike about a religion you like. LIke in my example. If I dislike the Catholic sex scandles of recent you must really hate it because it certainly affects you on more levels than it does me. Don't you just want to throttle those some of those guys?

For me I would say I dislike atheists who are bullies and I dislike UU's who wave the UU flag but don't bother to study religion..though I have never met a UU like that yet.....

I think we should berespectful towards others *even* when they are not showing respect to us. My behavior is not contingent on how someone treats me. I don't need to be rude, just because someone else is.

Even if it wasn't my intention to 'help the explore other ways of looking at life', the best approach would be kindness and generosity. I believe in the treat others in the mannaer in which you would like to be treated.:)

with regards to their religious practice, i'd mind my own beeswax. if i have questions, i'll ask them, and invite them to do the same. but there's no point in trying to alienate someone on the basis that you "don't agree with" their faith. learn from one another! but if you want to keep up the relationship, don't build up walls.

Define basic human dignity. Who decides what that is? I chose to treat them is a positive way, because kindness goes further than intolerance. Unless you are an alien, then I start throwing things.
