Idealistic moralities Vs "The real world"

have first hand experience on releasing inmates out of jail.
They are brought forth before a Council and observed by a psychologist and other board members. The inmate can lie his teeth off and get released.

Point: Our jail system sucks.

I would love to get a chance at meeting a few people (including the parole board) who were involved in my case and let them know that they were wrong at least about my case. The unfortunate thing is most people who get out who could've had all the intentions in the world to do right confront a society that still treats them like the scum of the earth despite the fact that they have done their time. They find out that their chances are very slim in finding a decent job and all their logic tells them is that they may as well deal dope, rob people/places, etc. again because they will get treated better amongst fellow criminals and can make a better living for themselves until they get caught again. If society wants to sow the wind, they shouldn't be suprised or angry when they reap the whirlwind. This "Murphy's Law" mentality hurts this whole subject more than anything else.

I don't have any sympathy at all for a person who is angry at society for punishing them justly for a crime that they commit of their own freewill.

Let them be angry.

I would love to have a one on one debate with you over "free will". Besides that, go ahead and keep riding that selfrighteous horse of yours. Until you have walked a minute in some of these people's shoes, that's all you'll be doing. The feeling is mutual.

Sincerely,
