And it's full of Scottish people speaking Glaswegian and Highland and stuff,
And he doesn't like haggis
And what about the rain?
And a kilt would look revolting on him.
And i wouldn't trust him with a dirk.
And watch he doesn't go around gropeing sporrans

He will of course,it’s what he does, can’t imagine him in a kilt either, watch out ladies.

It will never happen. Trump as with other high ranking elites are well above the law.

It would be an immeasurable mistake if he doesn’t go to trial for at least one of his alleged crimes, nobody should be seen to be above the law especially a former president,it’s not a good standard to set for future one’s imo.

Not a good standard to set for the whole population. "If he can get away with it so can I."

So we locking up Obama, Bush, Biden, Hillary, Cheney, Kissinger, etc. for war crimes, corruption, lying to Congress, etc.?

True, but at the other end of the spectrum it is possible that the entire reason Pres. Trump would not let go of office was that he was afraid of being convicted for things he had done. I recall in Roman history that a similar situation was why Rome's senate lost power. One of the senators was acting as general, but he was to be convicted of crimes as soon as he released command. He decided to remain in power.

Thus it may be very important for presidents to have the power to pardon themselves, even if they can't prevent themselves from being impeached etc. Even if it seems to set a bad example. Presidents aren't famous for setting good examples, although when they do set examples it makes them look great in history books.

Except we all know they won't even be investigated, alone charged and brought to trial. You can destroy whole countries, cause the death of millions, run laughing to the bank after enriching yourself and your buddies with the wealth of others, and then die of old age in bed. There is no justice here.

None at all so it’s a good reason to stop that rot.
