Er, I did.
SureYou wouldve heard about jesus though yeah?
Sure
Yes, I understand the point you are making which is that unless you have heard about Jesus you won't be hearing from him. But how can you verify that is so?That is the point.
As is so often pointed out in this context, the nature of the world doesn’t really suggest the existance of a peaceful, loving god being in control of things.
Unlike so many other religious leaders, to some extent Jesus, the Buddha, and Lao Tzu, among others seem to have contact with a God that did not tell them to go out killing people or starting wars. So many people have this crazy idea of God as a violent, vengeful, vindictive force, rather than one of peace, love, goodness and forgiveness, Its a real problem throughout the world.
I would agree with the title of your thread but it comes down to how one defines God.

So who do I believe?Unlike so many other religious leaders, to some extent Jesus, the Buddha, and Lao Tzu, among others seem to have contact with a God that did not tell them to go out killing people or starting wars. I feel God is a destructive force in the world only in the context of Christianity. Want to believe in the Christian god, then you're almost obligated to acknowledge all the destruction he's wreaked upon his creation.
God does not have to exist for the concept of God to do real damage.Let me get this straight, you don't believe in God, yet you feel God is a destructive force in the world, yeah right......
I like the idea that you leave room for the possibility that he is telling you to kill people. If God is telling you to kill people, you're probably not really hearing God at all.
