The image of God is destroyed when the man returns to dust. Can you answer the original question or not?
So there's no heaven or hell then? The image of God is destroyed when the man returns to dust.
Hell is the grave and heaven is for the resurrected immortal ones.So there's no heaven or hell then?
And humans aren't the immortal ones?Hell is the grave and heaven is for the resurrected immortal ones.
Humans, by birth, are mortal. They ought to seek for immortality. And the faithful in Christ will receive it. by resurrection from the dead ones..And humans aren't the immortal ones?
Just become whatever you want to be.How can we revoke it?
No, you can't since being made in the image of God means that your soul gets judged in the afterlife and that means that you'll end in up hell since suicide is supposedly a sin, so there doesn't seem to be a way out.
But that doesn't revoke it since being made in God's image apparently means that you'll get judged for what you do so if I become whoever I want to be then it won't change anything.Just become whatever you want to be.
What constitutes you is immortal, only forms are impermanent. Who is this God chap?If humans are made in the image of God why not make it so that we can't be anymore?
If humans are made in the image of God why not make it so that we can't be anymore?
Why not make it so that a person's status as an image bearer of God is revoked if they don't want it anymore?
I thought God cared about giving people choices.

We can do it ourselves. Using natural laws.If humans are made in the image of God why not make it so that we can't be anymore?

I don't understand.if one is a fractal of a hologram, then revoking that idea leads to dualism. Many already reject that they are god, or the light. The light is always otherwise and not reccognized in its omnipresence.

For a Christian you're not very nice. You're being an idiot.
Assuming Christianity is true, it's not that simple but that's not even the point, you didn't answer the original question. Plus, I don't want anything from a God that has no problem sending people to Hell, allowing humans to slaughter other creatures and creates evil creatures like Satan, so don't judge me please.Suppose for a second that you are the son of the Lord of Gaia Celestis (this is a punny name btw, supposed to represent Earth/Heaven but I made it into a town name), basically nobility in a wealthy land. As such, with basically no effort on your part you stand to gain inheritance. He's easygoing, and doesn't demand any duties at all. Nor does he care about reputation. You could probably get drunk and have a few orgies, and he'd be pretty easygoing about it. His main concern is actually your happiness. He's a good dad, and he's a good Lord of his Kingdom (doesn't demand huge property or income taxes, just a sales tax so the roads and such are built, and he gives much of his earnings to charity).
This guy isn't a ruler, and doesn't expect you to rule things, and there aren't any duties, he just is happiest when he sees you living your best life. But it seems like all that drinking and orgies just didn't satisfy you. Something is still bothering you. Then your "friends" ask you if it's exhausting being the son of a lord. You get to thinking, and tell your father that you don't want your inheritance anymore. So you go out with no money and no resources, and after a few weeks you wind up on the streets. Your "friends" are no help, they tell you it was all your fault (even though it's their advice you listened to). Eventually, you come crawling back to your father on your hands and knees. He's like "No worries. I expected you to do some exploring. You'll always be my son."
Recognize this story? It's the Prodigal Son.
We are all children of God. To do this is to be a bratty and petulant child that says "Screw you dad, I don't want your inheritance" despite the fact it was actually yours by grace, without understanding what it even is. It's a gift, not a duty. And what child refuses a gift of someone who loves them? But yes, you can reject this (it's called losing your soul). You can also change your mind and have it back.
I don't understand. We can do it ourselves. Using natural laws.
But suicide doesn't help.Well you did ask why nt make it so that we aren't made in the image of God anymore.

Humanity is capable to regulate itself.I don't understand.
Not their physical bodies. And humans aren't the immortal ones?
Since you're an agnostic that would make sense.I don't understand.
