If I go to heaven, can I visit relatives who might be in hell?

Would you please be so kind as to present the relevant verse?

Matt 22:30, Mark 12:25, Luke 20:35

The Sadducees asked Jesus about seven brothers who married one woman. "Who's wife will she be, for they all had her?" Jesus said, "Ye do err not knowing the Scriptures, nor the power of God, for we will be as the angels neither marrying nor giving in marriage."

And if I have no recollection of me or my sins, and I'm in hell, I'm being punished for eternity without knowing what I did wrong. Sounds like one of my wife's giult trips.

and it sounds like on the other hand you ill be in eternal bliss without any recollection of you or knowing what you did right. weird or what?

What the heck does that mean? He sounds like he's dodging the question.
What does He mean by "we?" It sounds like His answer to a legitimate question was "My disciples and I aren't going to marry."

If the bible, quran, etc really were the word of God, i'd rather go to hell anyways. :D

Anyways i don't believe in hell, so i can't really help,:sorry1:

The common religious opinion seemed to be that there would be no sort of connection between heaven and hell, and some even argued that those in heaven won't remember their loved ones who ended up in hell. I (and others) found that rather disturbing.

Yeah that was disturbing.

It was almost like they were looking forward to becoming some empty headed zombie.

Very disturbing.

Hell sounded better.

Edit:

That thread made heaven sound like a Dawn of the Dead sequel.

Google Matthew 22 and click on the enduringword link for some background info on that
